Maintaining Premiere College Campus with Ventrac

http://ventrac.com The College of Wooster is a premiere undergraduate research college located in Wooster, Ohio. With prospective students visiting and around 2,000 students enrolled on campus, there is a need to keep the area looking pristine. The grounds department maintains over 150 acres; many of which include sidewalks to and from buildings.Maintaining the grounds of this campus at elite standards is no easy task. To Beau Mastrine, the Director of Grounds at the college, the solution is simple. Beau has multiple Ventracs, equipped with numerous attachments. The Ventrac is the only solution to keep up with the daily needs. His Ventrac's can be seen throughout every season on campus.
There are about 50 acres of mowing per week, and parts of this campus have steep hills where no other piece of equipment except the Ventrac is allowed to operate. Equipped with dual wheels, the Ventrac can tackle these hills.
The College of Wooster is also named a “Tree Campus USA†with over 3,000 trees to clean up after in the fall. This can pose many problems, but with the high-power Turbine blowers, the spaces can be managed in a short amount of time.
When it comes to winter, Beau is confident sending his crew out to tackle the sidewalks. Everything can be easily managed for safety during a snow storm. When the sidewalks are plowed shut from city plow trucks, the Ventrac Snow Blower eats right through, making the sidewalks open and ready for foot traffic.
